This package includes a 90-degree mini-USB cable with a mountable bracket, and a USB type B extension cable. This package allows the user to leave the USB installed on the Hydra Chip while in the vehicle.*
This 90-degree USB cable is used to interface with our HydraFlash software running on a Windows computer.
Please note: Any mini-USB cable will work with the Hydra Chip, and any 90-degree mini-USB cable can be left installed on the Hydra Chip. This package provides a sturdy and simple way to keep your USB cables managed and convenient.
*DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PERMANENTLY INSTALL A STRAIGHT USB CORD ON THE HYDRA CHIP. THE PCM CASE DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO FACILITATE ANYTHING OTHER THAN A 90-DEGREE CABLE. INSTALLING A STRAIGHT USB MAY DAMAGE THE HYDRA CHIP.
