What Is the Orion Reflash System?
The Orion Reflash System for Navistar® is designed to improve power, drivability, and fuel economy on 1998–2006 Navistar-equipped vehicles. With gains of up to 100 horsepower over stock†, Orion helps your vehicle pull harder, respond faster, and drive better overall.
Power Hungry Performance used decades of tuning experience with the 7.3L platform to create tuning that brings Navistar T444e vehicles up to the same level as their Ford-based cousins.
Because these engines share similar fuel and injection systems, Orion also supports a wide range of related Navistar engine families.
Check Your Connector & PCM
1998 Split Year — Read This
Some 1998 vehicles are a split year, which means they may use an older PCM style. That older PCM will not work with the Orion Reflash System.
If your vehicle has this older PCM, it requires a specialty Hydra Chip instead.
If you own a 1994–1998 Navistar vehicle, call us before ordering so we can confirm what you need. You can also check the gallery images to compare PCM styles.

How the Orion Reflash System Works
Everything is managed through the Orion Reflash Portal.
Create a Portal Account
Sign up at portal.orionreflash.com — or scan the QR code included in your Orion kit.
Enter Your License Key
Add the License Key from your kit into the portal. This links the license to your account.
Read Your Vehicle
Use the Orion hardware and a Windows laptop to read your vehicle. This creates the required vehicle files.
Upload Files to the Portal
Upload the captured files to the Orion Portal. Power Hungry Performance uses them to build your custom reflash.
Download Your Reflash
You'll get an email when your files are ready. Download them from the portal.
Reflash Your Vehicle
Reflash your vehicle using the Orion hardware. Follow the included instructions to complete the process.
That's it. Read → Upload → Download → Reflash.

Custom Tuning Notes
Some vehicle modifications may require extra tuning. These include (but aren't limited to):
Orion Custom Reflash
Required if you have aftermarket injectors, modified HPOPs, or other significant mods. Add the Orion Custom Reflash to your order if needed.
IDM / FICM Tuning
IDM / FICM tuning is available for select vehicles and is required for some injector setups. If you're unsure, call us before ordering.
Restrictions
California Customers
This product cannot be sold or used in California due to CARB regulations.
